Cowboy Girl!!!!

Lindsay has a Dallas Cowboys onesie that she will outgrow before football season - SOOO - when Daddy was responsible for getting her dressed this morning, he put her in it for football draft weekend!!

We did a mini photo session this morning, and this close-up is our favorite. If you look closely you can even see her two teeth (bottom center)!! The second tooth just came through her gums yesterday!!

DADDY'S HOME!!!!!!!!

We were so glad to see Chip/Daddy on Saturday!!!!! It had been a long week without him, since Lindsay decided to go on sleeping strike while he was away. He brought back several things with him!!!! One was a kennel for Malibu - but we had to try it out for ourselves!!!



















Lindsay was also modeling some new shoes that Grandmother shopped for and sent back with Chip!!! They are great!!! Lindsay also had her 9 MONTH birthday while daddy was away - she is getting so big. Nothing is safe anymore!!! She climbs the stairs - thank goodness we only have 4 of them in the house!!! She pulls up on everything - doors, the coffee table, us - whatever is around!!! She is really enjoying her swing too!!! When we get too hot, or bored if the power goes out - we swing!!! Here are two photos - one of Lindsay pulling up, the other in her swing!!! While Daddy Is Away . . . The Girls Will Play!!!!

We kept very busy while Chip was in Phoenix!!! The Monday after Easter is a holiday here, so we went to the beach with some friends!!! Check out Lindsay's set up for the beach - not too bad huh?!?!?!



















Uncle Joe came over and helped us hang Lindsay's swing up - this time with extra line so we could actully reach the swing!!! It is still a little high- to clear the balcony rail - but it has a buckle in it, and Mommy stands in front of the swing, just to be safe!!! Lindsay loves it!!!





















Of coure we played lots with Malibu, and even had Lindsay's first friend come sleepover. Here are photos of Lindsay with Malibu, and one of her and Gabrielle playing together.

















We of course did our usual playgroups and shopping too!!! Thanks to everyone who checked on us while Chip was away - we really appreciated it!!! We were very glad to have Chip/Daddy back on Saturday!!!! On to the next blog entry!!!

Thanks Easter Bunny - Bawk Bawk!!!!

I am finally getting a chance to blog!!! Sorry for the delay!! Chip left for a work trip on Easter Sunday, and Lindsay kept me very busy while he was away!!!! Here are some cute photos I took of her on Easter.



















She got an Easter treat bucket - instead of a basket. That way we can use it at the beach too!!She enjoyed playing with the plastic eggs, stuffed bunny, and the little stuffed peeps we gave her. We did an egg hunt too - Lindsay style!! Check it out!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!

This time last year, Chip knew he was going to be a daddy soon, but he was not actually a daddy yet!!! Happy first "Daddy Birthday" to you!!!! Lindsay and Chip coordinated their outfits this morning - both wearing their Royals gear. The photo is not the best of Lindsay, but the birthday boy sure is handsome!!! (Not that I'm biased at all!!!)












We have had a rough week around here. Lindsay has been running a fever, and her first tooth officially arrived!!!! She is on the mend now - but number two tooth is coming soon - I think. With Lindsay not feeling so hot last week, I had to be creative with entertaining ourselves around the house. Here are a few cute photos of the girl!!!

We baked a cake for Chip today, and have babysitters for tonight - so things are looking up!!! Gotta go chase my crawling kiddo!!!

Spring Regatta and Baseball Season

Chip really enjoyed this weekend - it was Spring Regatta in the BVI!!! We have a view of all of the sailing races from the comfort of our balcony. Here are a few photos we took!!!

Lindsay enjoyed watching too!!! She hung out in her exersaucer on the balcony while Mommy and Daddy watched with the binoculars and telescope.

Then the icing on the cake was the beginning of Baseball Season!!!! Lindsay had to show her support to both KC and Texas!!!! Check out her duds!!!

I pulled out the ol' baseball and mitt!!! Lindsay loved playing with the baseball (and tasting it too!) We hope she grows up to be a baseball fan!!!

Grandma and Grandpa D - Lindsay told me to tell you she needs some ST. LOUIS CARDINAL wear too!!!!
